It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Alice Herrold, of Bolivar, MO, a beloved mother and friend, who left us on April 16, 2025, at the age of 88. Mary was born on October 15, 1936, in Rocky Comfort, MO.  She was united in marriage to Ronald Franklin Herrold March 11, 1961.  She spent most of her life making a home for her husband and children.

Mary was a proud graduate of Rocky Comfort high school.  She dedicated her career as a sales representative in the personal care products industry, primarily with Avon. Her cheerful spirit and knack for connecting with people made her a favorite among customers.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Herrold; her parents: Robert Bob and Keller Rose (Anderson) Paul.

She is survived by children: Jeffrey Herrold and his wife Sheryl of Humansville, MO, and Debra Worley of Stockton, MO; her brother Rex Paul of Cord, AR; four grandchildren: Jennafer, Jessica, Laura, and Dustin; many great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In honoring Mary’s life, a graveside service will take place on April 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Dustin Preston officiating, at Rondo Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Ronald. Family and friends can gather to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she has had on so many.
