Mrs. Mary Lou Jackson, age 82 of Pittsburg, MO, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, in her home. She was born October 24, 1934, in Jefferson City, MO, to George Emmett and Nellie May (Gilmore) Lairmore. She was united in marriage to Eldridge J. Jackson April 12, 1952, and to this union four children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eldridge Jackson; a granddaughter Amanda Woolery; two son’s in-law: Tim Hinkle, and Clarence Griffing; and a sister Dorothy Shanks.
She survived by four children: Gail Griffing of Florence, MO, Brenda Woolery and husband Larry of Clarksburg, MO, Dorothy Broxterman and husband Bill of Sadelia, MO, and Ken Jackson and wife Debbie of Pittsburg, MO; five grandchildren: Billy Woolery, Clara Griffing, Annie Rasa, Tim Lutjen, and Kevin Lutjen; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson; a brother Herschel Lairmore and wife Rosie of Marshfield, MO; a close friend Erma Woolery; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Grandview Cemetery Morningstar, AR. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centerpoint Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
