Mary Louis Highfill of Springfield, Missouri, was born on August 17, 1957, and passed away on January 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Mary was married to her husband, Robert Kent Highfill, for 46 years. She was a devoted mother to two sons, Chris Highfill (Sarah) and Jesse Highfill (Jennifer), and a proud “Mimi” to her five grandchildren: Ella, Jack, Alle, Brynnleigh, and Brecken.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Alice Richardson and Barbera Corson husband Robert and her brothers, Tom Richardson, wife Ann, Larry Richardson wife Nancy and Dan Richardson wife Donna. Sister in law Linda Richardson. Cousin Mary Kearney Richardson. She was preceded in death by Guy Richardson, Nancy Richardson, Bobby Richardson, and Michael Richardson.
Mary loved her family deeply and loved the Lord. She had a fun, quirky personality and was happiest outside, tending her wildflowers or spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
Her services have been entrusted with Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
