From first meeting in 8th grade on the walk home from school to getting breakfast with you a couple Sundays ago, life has been better with you in it. The winter I lived in Steamboat with you is one of my favorite times I’ve had in my life! The Fourth of July weekend at Table Rock on my dad’s houseboat, jet skiing and cliff jumping. All the days after school in the creek or at the spring. Working together in the summers cleaning pools. Going to Schwagstock and instead of turning left to go home like always, you and I turned right to go see Eric Clapton in St. Louis. I’ll never forget driving home on 44 at 2 am and I hit a HUGE opossum and you woke up, looked at me to make sure we were okay, and went back to sleep. My first major concert was 311 with you and Cody Coleman at the Shrine Mosque when we were 15. All of us were in awe. All the nights staying up and talking. I’ll be around, my brother. I’ll always hold you in my heart. I’m grateful I got to be blessed by you being in my life. I love you Matty

To my dear sister Donni, Phil and Casey, I am so very very sorrowed of your and our tremendous loss. I know Grandmommie and Dr. Stengel are with Matt now and he is safe and protected with them. That's the only positive thing about this horrific reality. I love you all very much, Terri
