Michael Lewis Vickers, 69, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away on September 2, 2021. He was born to John Michael Vickers and Patricia Ann Vickers on August 27, 1952, in Bryan, Texas. He graduated from Rolla High School in 1970 and then served in the Navy. After his service, he started his career as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved woodworking and spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Michael Vickers, and his sister, Joyce Ann Vickers-Wendelken.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Vickers; his sisters: Judith Lynn Kile and Michael Kile, and Lauren Janice Carduff and Jack Carduff; his nieces and nephews: Brian Carduff, Jared Miesner, Christin Wilton, Laverne Wendelken-Riegelhaupt, Gaysha Fevold, and Jenny Carduff-Siroky; and close friends, Mark and Sue Eudaly.
The family plans to have a private celebration of life, and then have his ashes released at sea off the northern coast of Florida.
