Michael “Mike” Ray Hubbard, 67, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born June 16, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri to Charles and Charlene Hubbard. He was the oldest of three children. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1974. He went on to work at EFCO Corporation, Paul Mueller Company, and Holloway America. He retired from Holloway America in June 2022. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and time with friends. He was always up for fishing with his grandchildren from his pond. He will be greatly missed by many.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Charlene Hubbard. Mike is survived by his daughter Kylie Speights, her husband Daniel, and his three grandchildren Aryssa, Keegan, and Kooper of Ozark, Missouri. Mike is survived by his brother Mark Hubbard, and his wife Shannon Hubbard of Farwell, Michigan. Mike is also survived by his sister Michele Appleton, and her husband Dave Appleton of Ozark, Missouri along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mike’s service will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at Greenlawn East Funeral Home at 11 AM with Pastor, Ethan Lippert officiating. A lunch will follow the service at Lifepoint Church, located at 51 Riverdale Road in Ozark, MO.

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
