Michael (Big Mike) Willard Crane age 57 , of Republic passed away Monday, January 23rd, 2017.
Mike was born April 1, 1959 in Springfield, to Joe Bill and Mildred (Crane) Blankenship. He was a 1977 graduate of Willard High School. Mike retired from Missouri State University. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a Rural Letter Carrier. Mike enjoyed riding his Harley. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred (Crane) Blankenship, twin brother, Mark Crane (Cara), Republic, one sister, Becky Aton (Jim), Willard; his companion of sixteen years, Paulette Lauthern; three nephews, Daryn (Ginger) and Dallas Clevenger, and Jason Coleman (Cammi); one niece, Mattia Coleman; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bill Crane, maternal grandparents, Floyd and Lorene Gurley; and his paternal garndpaernts, Willard and Lavena Crane.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 4 to 5 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North . Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 5:00 pm in the funeral home, with a private burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association,American Diabetes Association, or National Parkinson Foundation. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North
