It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Louise Falzone, affectionately known as Millie, who left us on December 20, 2025, at the age of 70. Born to John and Bertha (Felt) Chew on August 26, 1955, in Boston, MA, Millie spent a lifetime cherishing her family and making deep, meaningful connections with everyone she met.
She grew up in the New England area with her siblings John, David, Joseph, and Anna. Millie graduated from Randolph High School and went on to Youville Hospital College where she earned her certification as a licensed practical nurse.
Millie was married to her beloved husband, Charles Falzone, with whom she shared a beautiful life full of love and laughter. As a devoted mother to Angelina and her son-in-law Wilfrid and her step-daughters Christina and Maria, Millie’s heart overflowed with pride for her daughters and grandchildren, Emmalynn and Noa Baptiste, as well as her step-grandchildren, Casey, Nicole, and James. Family was everything to her, and her home was a gathering place filled with joy.
For over 30 years, Millie devoted herself to being a compassionate LPN, assisting countless families in OBGYN offices. Her gentle nature and caring spirit left a lasting impact on the lives she touched. In addition to her nursing career, Millie delighted in summers spent camping and treasured evenings curled up with a good book. Gardening brought her great joy, especially growing vibrant flowers, and she had a passion for quilting. Millie was a self-taught quilter, creating beautiful masterpieces that were filled with love and affection.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Bertha Chew and her brother, John Chew, and nephews Jason Chew, David Michael Chew and Christian Costa.
Millie is survived by her husband of 42 years Charles, daughter Angelina Falzone, son-in-law Wilfrid Baptiste, grandchildren Emmalynn and Noa Baptiste, step-daughters and their husbands Christina and Paul Capodilupo and Maria and Kevin Hough, step-grandchildren Casey Scanlon, Nicole Freddura, and James Capodilupo, and her beloved siblings-brothers and their wives David and Eileen Chew and Joseph and Martha Chew, sister and her husband Anna and Steve Johnston and sister-in-law, Eleanor Chew, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
