Margaret Anne Buchanan 84, Pleasant Hope, MO. formerly of Azusa, California, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Bolivar, MO. She was born on July 15, 1938, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Harold and Minnie (Kemp) Richey. Margaret was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church, near Willard, MO. She was a retired C.N.A. for Maranatha Nursing Home, after 20 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and baking.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Minnie Richey, her husband, Billie Jack Buchanan ( They were married on April 11, 1955), she also was preceded in death by her two sons, Jack and Kenny. She is survived by her children: Burt and Cheryl Buchanan, Cindy and Garry Mizell, Rob and Wendy Buchanan, and Randy and Tammy Buchanan, thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
