Louise M. Etheridge of Springfield, age 98, passed away April 20, 2018, at Brookhaven Health Care.

Louise was born July 11, 1919 at Branson, Missouri to Dora Mead and Curt Easterday. While young, she moved with her family to Springfield, Missouri where she had resided since, except for a time as a newlywed in Joplin, Missouri.
Louise Easterday was married to Everett Etheridge in Republic, Missouri in 1939. They had three children: Janet Henley (Lloyd), Joe Etheridge (Robin), and Jill Reaves, all of Springfield
.
She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2007. Louise leaves surviving, in addition to her children, multiple generations of grandchildren. She is also survived by dear sisters, Billie Thurman and Maxine Smith, numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend of all these, Elizabeth Swinney.

Louise enjoyed Saturday outings, evening card games, and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church which ministered to her for many years during her long disability.

The family wishes to thank the many people at Brookhaven who were so king to Louise during her three year stay, and to Preferred Hospice and their care during her last days.

Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 2018, 5:00-7:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, 10:00am, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
