Nancy (Bruer) Bowles 93, Springfield, MO. passed away on December 11, 2022 at Cox South Hospital, after a brief stay. She was born in Springfield, MO. on January 11, 1929, to Joe W. and Jessie (Fitch) Bruer.
Nancy worked for the Frisco Railroad, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and the Nixon-Lindstrom Insurance Agency. She loved to work on Crossword Puzzles and to Crochet, and she made the best Peanut Brittle at Christmas time.
Nancy was a descendent of the Massey family, who were among some of the first settlers of eastern Greene County.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, David Howard Jones, her husband, Harvey Bowles, and her six brothers, Tom, Homer, Jack, Bob, Volney, and Joe Bruer, all of whom she adored.
She is survived by her her many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at Noon on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Danforth Cemetery, near Strafford, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, before the Graveside Services at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
