Paige Trinity-Leigh Benitez, age 20, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on June 29, 2025, in her hometown. Born on April 27, 2005, in Springfield, Paige brought light and laughter into the lives of those around her from the very beginning.
Paige was a vibrant and curious soul whose passions were as unique and colorful as she was. She had a deep love for rollerblading and could often be found gliding through Springfield Skateland or skating around downtown Springfield with joy and freedom. Her creativity knew no bounds—she had an extraordinary talent for building intricate Lego sets with astonishing speed and precision. Whether it was constructing puzzles, drawing imaginative scenes, or diving into the digital worlds of Minecraft and Mario Kart on her Nintendo, Paige embraced every opportunity to explore and create.
She had a sharp mind that delighted in the unexpected. Paige knew Morse Code and American Sign Language, could recite several digits of Pi (which she proudly displayed as her phone lock screen), and would surprise others with random facts—especially when she pretended not to know much at all. Her intelligence was matched by her sense of humor and her love for deep conversations. She cherished time spent with her mom, Michelle Ransom, sharing giggles and heartfelt talks about everything from growing up to their shared faith.
Paige’s love for Jesus was a guiding force in her life. She found joy in discussing the Bible with her mom and held onto her beliefs with quiet strength. Her favorite foods reflected her playful spirit—bacon topped the list, followed closely by cheese balls, sushi, Mac & Cheese pizza from Cici’s (and only from Cici’s), and drumstick ice cream cones.
Her musical tastes were just as eclectic as her personality. She enjoyed listening to 21 Pilots, Imagine Dragons, Mercy Me, and Gorillaz. When it came to TV shows, she was drawn to stories that were bold and thought-provoking—favorites included Stranger Things, Squid Games, The Last of Us, and Young Sheldon.
Paige leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close: her mother Michelle Ransom and stepfather Isaac Ransom; her father Ben Benitez and his wife Carol Benitez; her brother Alex Benitez; stepsisters Makayla and Alyssa; grandparents Steve and Kat Rice, Cara Ransom, Janie Benitez, Steve Ransom and Linda Ransom; along with a large blended family of aunts, uncles, cousins—and countless others whose lives she touched.
She is reunited in peace with her nana Debbie Rice and grandpa Israel Benitez.
Though Paige’s time here was far too short, the impact she made will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Her laughter still echoes in memories shared over late-night talks or spontaneous dance sessions; her brilliance shines through every Lego masterpiece left behind; her faith continues to inspire those who walked beside her.
May Paige Trinity-Leigh Benitez be remembered for the joy she brought into this world—the sparkle in her eyes when skating freely under city lights or solving puzzles with ease—and may that memory bring comfort to those who loved her most. A Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 E. Seminole. Services to follow at 2:00 PM.
