Pamela Rae (Eagleburger) Burney, 68 of Springfield, Mo passed on May 12, 2022 after dealing with the progression of Parkinson with strength, grace and faith.

Pam was born to parents Raymond and Helen Eagleburger on August 11, 1953.

She graduated from Hillcrest High School and had many close lifelong friends from the class of 1971. Pam married her high school sweetheart Steve Burney in 1974 and they had two children: Luke and Beth. Always the loving, involved, and supportive parent, Pam volunteered at school and became part of the library staff, she organized youth teams, led booster clubs and supported Luke and Beth in all their activities.

Pam was a gifted athlete that loved the camaraderie and friendships she made through years of competitive softball. Pam was a lifetime member of Pathways/Dale Street United Methodist Church and she had a special passion for the development of the children’s program, Sonshine Kids.

Pam was preceded in death by her father Raymond, brother Chris and son Luke. She is survived by her mother Helen, husband Steve of 48 years, daughter Beth Doles and husband Shawn and grandson Ryker, brother Brad Eagleburger and wife Debbie, sister in law Patsy Seal and husband Jim and many special nephews and nieces.

Services will be held at Greenlawn North with visitation on Monday, May 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17th at 1p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks.
