Patricia Ann Jackman, 87, Nixa, MO. passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Castlewood Assisted Living. She was born on Friday, August 2, 1935, at her home in Nixa, MO. at 6:30 a.m. She attended Nixa High School, graduating in 1953, and attended Business College, for one year. She was a retired business office assistant, for Culver-Stockton Registrar Secretary, Pacific High School Secretary, Mercantile Bank Assistant, and Edward Jones Branch Operation Assistant. She retired at the age of 74, in 2010.
On November 14, 1952, she was united in marriage to James Frederick Jackman Jr. in Madison County, in Huntsville, Arkansas. Patricia was a Southern Baptist, she was involved with church activities, at North Nixa Baptist Church, and volunteered for Cox Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed Reading, traveling in England and Rome, camping with her family, Antique Shops and small Cafes.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother: Lena Ruth Jaqua Taylor, father, Frank L. Taylor, Brother: J.C. Taylor, Patricia’s husband, James F. Jackman, James F. Jackman Jr, her son, James David Jackman, and his wife, Linda Jane Tate Jackman, her daughter Kristine June Jackman Brownlee Darr. Children and their spouses: Deborah Ann Shepard, Karen Lynne and Victor Jones, Katherine Jean Williams and husband Dan, Kelly Sue and David Pearson, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, Spouse of deceased brother, Carol Taylor, Sister and their spouse, Linda and Jerry Bolin, Niece and nephew, Jerinda Bolin Brown, Darin Bolin, Cousins, Gloria Jean Phanton, Angela Phanton, and Ann Hawkins Hedgepath.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at North Nixa Baptist Church, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
