Patricia A. Hill 82, Springfield, Mo. passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, in her home, after a long illness. She was born on March 15, 1936, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, to Jerry Fidel and Mynetta Anne (Davis) Jones. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Elwood Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, feeding birds. She also loved gardening and flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, singing at church.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ronnie Jones, and a son-in-law, John W. Smith. She is survived by her husband, Charles e. Hill, three daughters and their husbands: Christina Louise Willis and Lt.. Lonnie Edward Willis, Rhonda June Smith and Melody Lynne Lakey and Leslie Dean Lakey, her grandchildren: Attorney: Bobby L. Brown and wife Dr. Theresa C. Brown, Julie K. Brown, Ronica Tollison, Brittany Toothman, J.C. and Brandi Smith, Dillion and Cali Smith, Lester Lakey, and Brandon Lakey. Her great-grandchildren: Quinn Brown, Xavier Brown, Ariana Smith, Joshua Tollison, Billy Tollison, Dallas, Lillian, Olivia, and Riley Smith, Elijah, Charlie Belle, Raylyn and Tony Smith. She is also survived by her brothers: Jerry Jones, Richard Jones and Ronnie Jones, two sisters: Sue Hanzlicek and Peggy Gannon and her brothers and sisters-in-laws: Leonard & Judy Hill, Kenny & Beverly Hill Mary Garrison and Sharon Mosier as well as many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m.Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
