Patricia J. Lance, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, went to be with our Lord, Friday, April 15th, 2022, Springfield MO. Incredibly fun, bright, and beautiful, Patricia will be most remembered as an engaging listener with a compassionate heart, kind nature, dazzling smile, soft-spoken wit, and wonderful sense of humor.  Born March 5, 1929, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Wilma and Charles Janitell, she enjoyed childhood on her family’s dairy farm.  A graduate of Blair Business College, Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia retired from Bechtel Power Corporation, Norwalk, CA, and later worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, Apple Valley, CA.  Patricia graced the lives of, and will be greatly missed by, daughter and son-in-law, April and David Babington; 3 grandchildren, Anthony Babington, Trevor Babington, and his spouse, Kodi Babington; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Bunnie Janitell; sister, Kathleen Kelling; nieces, nephews, and cousins.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James R. Lance, and sisters, Virginia Gonsalves, Charlene Hover, and Marianna Bendon.  Special thanks to Patricia’s favorite doctor, Dr. James T. Rogers, M.D., the staff at Sunterra Springs, and everyone at Mercy Hospital.
