Rick and Anne McIver left a message on September 24, 2021:
We are neighbors of the McCroskey's. One winter our car got stuck in the snow. The McCroskey saw this, and without being asked, pulled our car out of the snow and then plowed our road. I baked cookies to thank them for what they had done. Mrs. McCroskey baked cookies for us in return, thanking us for thanking them. This is what being a great neighbor is all about. We are very sorry for your loss, but know that Heaven is rejoicing having brought her home. The McIver's, Rick, Anne & Maya

Chantelle Hammers left a message on September 23, 2021:
Pat was literally everything to everyone - she did an astonishing amount of everything! She could cook, sew, do any kind of farm work - all from such a tiny, quiet superwoman. Always a smile. Always there to lend a hand, and seemed to do it without trying to draw attention to herself. Her family was everything. Everything. If her children or grandchildren were involved, she was there. If something happened in the community & help was needed, she was there. I can honestly say I'm better for having known her - observing how she raised her family, interacted with her grandkids, and was a dear Christian woman. I want to be more like her. To Terry, Cherie, Tommy, Dwayne & Brent - we're holding each of you in our hearts & many, many prayers for you and your families. I know you all know this, but I still think it merits saying, "She was precious". God Bless.

To the McCroskey family, there are no words adequate enough to express my deepest sympathy to you over your loss of Pat. Pat was a wonderful Christian woman that loved everyone and walked the walk of a Christian Mother and Wife. She was a friend to everyone and a proud Momma and Grandma. I will miss running into her around Pleasant Hope and at her grandchildren’s programs. She was pure joy as Grandma Clara would call her. At this time, let our wonderful Heavenly Father comfort you in his arms, and give you strength and love in the dark days ahead. It’s not goodbye, it’s until I see you soon. Prayers for your family. Tammy
