Paul Clayton Harris, 85, Springfield, MO. passed away Friday, February 23, 2018, in his home, after a long illness. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on October 29, 1932, to Clarence and Esther Louise (Burdett) Harris. He was a retired salesperson for Western Auto Stores. He taught sales at Dale Carnagie Associates, he also worked in sales at BRC Bearings in Wichita, Kansas.He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife, Eleanor Harris, and two sons: Michael and Mark Harris. He is survived by his wife Jerene Annette Branson-Harris, sister-in-law: Evelyn Harris, two sisters: Phyllis Pettit and her husband Elroy, and Lois Brooks and her husband James, two step-daughters: Karen Kessler, and Denise Yoakum and her husband, Derek, two step-sons: John Branson and his wife, Mary, and Bryan Branson and his wife Carrie, a grand-daughter: Paulette Rardon, a great-grandson: Logan Rardon. Paul's only brother, Dan Harris passed away on March 1, 2018, after Paul's passing.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Pastor Jerene Kay officiating. No visitation or burial is planned.
