Paul Vincent Conley, 70, of Rogersville, Missouri, passed away on December 1, 2023, after an extended battle with Sjögren’s Syndrome.
Paul was born on February 28, 1953, to Arthur and Florence in St. Louis, Missouri. After Paul graduated from St. John Paul II Preparatory South in 1971, he studied Automotive Engineering at Rankin Technical College.
After graduating, he worked his first job at Jaguar St. Louis as an Automotive Technician and later at Elite Automotive Group as a Mercedes-Benz Master Guild Technician.
In 1975, Paul met Carol at a Boy Scout Explorer Post meeting. Paul and Carol were married on June 12, 1982, and went on to have two children, Daniel Paul Conley, and Benjamin Joseph Conley.
In 2016, Paul retired from Elite Automotive Group. He spent most of his time with family, attending to his honeybees, bass fishing, flying remote-controlled airplanes, monitoring the stock market, and playing his guitar. He was an enthusiastic fan of Formula 1, NASCAR, and all automotive racing series.
Paul was predeceased by his mother and father, Florence and Arthur Conley, his sister Margret Zerkel, and his brother, John Conley. He is survived by his wife, Carol Conley (nee Inabnit); his children, Daniel, and Benjamin Conley; his brothers and sisters, Maureen Conley, Michael Conley, Thomas Conley, Mary Jo Conley, Mark Conley, Patricia Margenau and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home on December 8 at 4:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on December 9 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Camp Barnabas, an organization dedicated to providing a unique Christian summer camp experience to individuals with special needs, their siblings, and youth from across the United States, which Paul felt strongly about. https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=campbarnabas&id=1
