Paula Sue Conn was born the last of six children to Paul and Flossie Kynion. Paula entered this world on May 14,1941 and departed to be with the Lord on July 25, 2021.
Paula enjoyed life especially being a wife, mom, and grandmother. In the earlier years she loved baking cookies for Christmas and going to the circus with the grandkids, and in the later years, dinners on the back porch with the family and fishing with Ron.
She is survived by her husband Ron; son, Jack Thurman and wife Stacey; daughter Janis Brown and husband Brad; stepdaughters Carolyn Christian and Celynda Blackburn all of Springfield. She left behind four grandchildren and five great grandchildren who she thought were exceptional. Her surviving siblings include one brother Jerry Kynion of Palm Harbor, FL and sister Dorothy Phillips of Sacramento, CA. Paula loved her church and the people of First Baptist Church of Springfield. Visitation will be held Friday, July 30 10:00 am and the funeral service will be held immediately afterwards at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freeway Ministries in care of First Baptist Church, 525 South Ave. Springfield, MO 65806.
