Peter E. Scotidis, age 78, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Cox Medical Center South. He was born June 14, 1938, in Athens, Greece, to Emanuel and Maria Scotidis. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. He was an officer in the Greek Royal Navy for 6 years. He worked for the Electromotive Division of General Motors, for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evridiki (Vicki) Scotidis, his children; Emanuel Scotidis, Alexander Peter Scotidis, and Mary Eve Scotidis, his granddaughter; Elaina Scotidis. He is also survived by his siblings in Athens, Greece: Nick Scotidis, Spiros Scotidis, and Ageliki Thomadaki.
Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 with Father Andrew Moore officiating. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Online condolences may be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
