Rebecca Lynn Mitchell, age 70, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, at Mercy.
Rebecca was born September 6, 1951, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Truman and Eugene Mitchell. Rebecca was a graduate of Glendale High School. She worked many years as a beautician. Rebecca loved to travel and go to the casino.
Survivors include her son Byron Mitchell and wife Laura, of Claremore, OK; one granddaughter, Madison; eight brothers and sisters; two close friends, Olivia and Connie; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10am-2pm at Eagles Lodge #3934,603 W Farm Rd 182, Springfield, MO 65810.
Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
