Rex D. Moore, age 95, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on May 20, 2021. He was born on August 14, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri to Robert N. and Nellie “Fay” Stearns Moore. He served with the United States Army during WWII. He then worked as a bus driver for the City Utilities of Springfield, before retiring on December 31, 1986 with 28 years of service.
He was united in marriage to M. Ruth Page Moore on January 24, 1943, in South Greenfield, Missouri. He was also affiliated with the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife M. Ruth Page Moore; parents, Robert N. and Nellie “Fay” Stearns Moore; sisters, Veda Pursselly, Nova Garrison, and Cleo Bridges. He is survived by his children Harold Moore, Barbara Coursey, and Judy Mulholland (Mike); 8 grandchildren, Bob Moore, Heidi Mills, Tyler Moore, Josh Moore, Jayme Nipper, Trayce Smith, Tama Ross, and Jamayla Davis; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 nephew.

There will be a visitation on May 26, 11:00-12:00 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The graveside service will follow at 12:30 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
