Mr. Richard Leon Booth, age 56 of Bolivar, passed away March 11, 2010 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1953 in Springfield, Missouri, to Ralph and Alma (Cook) Booth. He was a brick layer in the construction industry.
Richard was saved at Enon Missionary Baptist Church, when he was a young boy. Richard was a loving son, brother, dad and granddad “PaPa”. His granddaughters were the light of his life, and made his day much brighter through his long time illness. He was much loved by his family, nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be sadly missed by all who really knew him – Our loss is Heavens Gain.
He is survived by his son Jeremy Booth of Bolivar, his mother Alma Booth of Bolivar, his father Ralph Booth of Bolivar, one brother Mark Booth and sister-in-law Charlotte of Bolivar, one sister Cheryl Kay Mincks and husband Billy of Bolivar, two grand-daughters Katy Booth and Lilly Willoughby. Nieces and nephews Crystal Booth, Dustin Booth, Colesha Booth, Eric Mincks, Steven Mincks, Alexis Laws, Serendity Pettibone and Kayden Mincks.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Monday March 15, 2010 in Pitts Chapel, in Bolivar, Missouri, with music selections by the Krtek Sisters. Pallbearers will be Rick Ball, Mark Booth, Steve Mincks, Eric Mincks, Billy Mincks & Jack Booth. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Booth, Alex Laws, Danny Ross & Willis Camp.
