Richard was preceded in death by his father, Earl Wheeler; mother, Wilma Zielke, and brother, Alan. He is survived by his daughters Meghan Wheeler and Erica Wheeler; brothers Douglas Wheeler and Michael Wheeler; and sister Deborah Gillespie.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at a later date.
