Rita K. (Walls) Buchholz of Nixa, Missouri passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024 at the age of 78. She was born on January 4, 1946 in International Falls, Minnesota to Norman and Jean (Pelland) Walls.
Rita married the love of her life, Jeff Buchholz, on August 26, 1967. They shared 51 wonderful years together. Rita dedicated herself to raising their three daughters and supporting her husband.
Rita was a devoted woman of God. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her generous spirit, integrity and unwavering faith left an impact on all who met her.
She is survived by her daughters: Dana Sanders (Marty), Tara Tinlin (Paul) and Shay Kopp (Kevin); grandchildren, Macy, Aubrey and Colby.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Buchholz; parents, Norman and Jean Walls; father in law, Bernhard Buchholz; mother in law, Martha Buchholz; brothers, Bernie Walls, Tom Walls and Dan Walls; sisters, Sharon Misner and Wendy Walls.
A private celebration of life service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Missouri.
