It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Smith, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great- Grandfather and friend, who left this world on June 13, 2025, at the age of 75. Robert was born on September 22, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, where he spent his life and built enduring connections with family and friends.
He spent years as a welder in the manufacturing industry, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues during his tenure at Paul Mueller.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Margie Smith, who stood by his side through every chapter of their lives. Their love and commitment were evident to all who knew them, and Margie will forever cherish the countless memories they created together.
In honor of Robert’s life and the impact he had on those around him. Robert will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield on June 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Robert Lee Smith will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
