I just learned of Rodney’s passing. Shocking and heartbreaking! I have been a client of Rodney’s for 26 years. He was an awesome hairstylist! I have always received compliments on my hair - thanks to Rodney. Rodney was a very kind, loving soul and would do anything for anyone if he could. My condolences to his mom, Turner, and all his family. Rodney loved you all so much! Rest In Peace, Rodney.

My mom was a stylist at Rodney’s salon off Campbell for many years. I have very fond memories of spending my days after school there and Rodney always making me laugh or using his new tools on my hair. He was always so sweet.

I first met Rodney several years back. He was a friend of my daughter Candice. She recommended him to me for getting my hair done. At the time, I lived 5 hours away. So when I planned visits to see her I arranged hair appointments also. She had told me how great a job he did on hair, but was also a very nice, funny, outgoing and bubbly spirit. Well, let me say, she was right!!! He made you feel like you and your hair was all he cared about. He had you in stitches laughing the whole time!!! I understand why he and Candice were friends. Plus, they shared the same birthday, March 14th. He was a very kind, sweet, caring, fun loving person. And he loved his son Turner. Talked about him all the time!!! He will be missed. Love and prayers to his family. Karen

Rodney was always smiling and out to have fun and look good doing it. He taught me about coloring my hair when I couldn't come to his salon. Best of all, my son fought us so baf getting his hair cut until we took him to Rodney. He was so good with him. It was unreal. So thankful for having known Rodney. RIP
