Ronald Eugene Michael, age 71, departed this life on April 18, 2025, at his home in Springfield, Missouri. He was born to Ivan and Ruth (Wooddell) Michael on November 28, 1953, in Sidney, Ohio.
Ron worked as an over the road truck driver, driving for Roadway/Yellow Freight Lines (retired), Milky Way Truck Lines, and Marshfield Mill. Ron also had a Machinist Degree. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites of Springfield.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Ruth Michael; wife, Linda (Walker) Michael; and his brother Ivan Michael Jr. He is survived by his sister Judith Wrenn; brother, Mark Michael (Tonya); sister in law, Deb Michael; brother in law, Jerry Walker (Jean); nieces and nephews, Kayla (Darrell) Derks, Steven (Nikki) Michael, Tyler (Cherokee) Michael, Anita (Andy) Walker, Michael (Regina) Gesell, Kevin Michael, Holly ( Scott) McCoy, Tim (Melinda) Walker, Matt Walker; plus great nieces and nephews, as well as family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, 3:00 PM, at Dishman Cemetery, 713 W. Bluegrass Rd., Strafford, Missouri, 65757. Services are being provided by Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
