Ronald “Ron” Gene Payne 74, Pleasant Hope, MO. passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, in his home. He was born in Willard, MO. on January 19, 1948, to W.B. and Neva Mae (White) Payne. Ron was a retired welder for Acro Trailer Company, and was a United States Army veteran. Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren and fishing and hunting,

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Neva Payne, his sister, Mary, and his brother, Buddy. He is survived by his two sons:  Bruce Payne and his wife, Debbie, and Mike Payne and his wife, Carrie, grandchildren: Austin Payne and his wife: Skyler, Garrett Payne, Jonathan Payne, and Josh Payne, his brothers: Wally Payne and his wife, Pam, and Garland Payne and his wife, Debbie, and his sisters: Sara Thornton and her husband, Charlie, and Dorothy Johnson and her husband, Kenny, and Dawn Albert, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at a later date, with final inurnment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
