Mr. Ronald (Ron) Eugene Hunsaker Sr., age 85 of Brighton, MO, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born December 5, 1939, in Mansfield, MO to HL and Juanita Hunsaker. Ron was united in marriage to his first love Carolyn Spurlock on February 16, 1957, and to this union 2 sons and 1 daughter were born. On May 18, 1969, he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 54 years Barbara Anne Kelly and to this union 1 son was born. He retired after 30 years as Truck Driver for Roadway in which he moved across the country multiple times during his career. Ron had passion for golfing and bowling, and during retirement enjoyed good movies and compassion for his remaining animals, Lily a golden lab and his horse Dusty.

He is preceded in death by his late love of his life Barbara Anne; his parents; and 1 son: Stephen Hunsaker of Daytona Beach, Florida.

He is survived by 2 sons: David (Sole) Hunsaker of Rogersville, MO and Ronald “Beau” Hunsaker, Jr. of Bolivar, MO; 2 daughters: Susie (Dale) Huneke of Underwood, IA and Shanna (Tim) Novak of Kansas City, KS; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Don (Sherry) Hunsaker of Springfield, MO; as well as host of nieces, nephews and friends.

According to Ron’s wishes his body will be cremated.  Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Humansville Cemetery Humansville, MO.  Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
