Rosie Lee (Dye) Hunter, age 61, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in her home. She was born December 15, 1952, in Neelyville, MO, to Willie and Ida (Warren) Dye. She was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Willie B. Dye; one grandchild, Rayshaun Morrow: and one brother, Lawrence Willis.She is survived by her four children, Michelle (Dye) Raulston, Tulsa, OK; Tammy Sharee Dye, Springfield, MO, Joey Dye, Springfield, MO, and Jamar Dye, Springfield, MO; her mother, Ida May Dye, Springfield, MO; six grandchildren, Riley Raulston, Jay Raulston, Courtney Raulston, Justice Little, Autumn Little , and Austin Little; two sisters, Rutha Mae Dye, Springfield, MOand Betty Little, Poplar Bluff, MO; six brothers, Willie Dye Jr., Springfield, MO, George Dye, Springfield, MO, Henry Dye, Springfield, MO, Edward Dye, Springfield, MO, Preston Dye, Springfield, MO, and Jimmy Dye, Springfield, MO; and one step-sister, Lynn Hunter Dixon, Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO with Rev. James Robinson officiating. Burial will be held in EastlawnCemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. before services on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
