Ruby Jean (Findley ) Diemer, age 89, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 at The Manor at Elfindale.
Ruby was born September 9, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas to Guy and Maxine Findley and spent part of her childhood in Mansfield, MO.. Ruby was Miss Merry Christmas in Springfield. She was a 1946 graduate of Springfield Senior High School and attended Missouri State University.. She and her husband Jack began Greenlawn Funeral Home North in 1966. She enjoyed shopping, especially Q.V.C., and spending time with her dog Sam.
She is survived by her son, Jake Diemer;grandson Jason Diemer; great-grandson, Boston Diemer; and a host of family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Maxine Findley; one brother, Jerry Lee Findley; and one sister, Mary Rae Findley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm, Friday at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 31, 2018, with entombment in Greenlawn Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.
