Ryan Matthew Crouse, 38, of Houston, TX, passed away on March 23, 2023 peacefully in his sleep.

Ryan was born on October 28, 1984 to Linda and Duane Course in Santa Maria, CA. After Ryan attended Ozark High, he went on to obtain his associates degree from OTC in 2014 and transferred on to study Petroleum Engineering at Missouri Science & Technology.

After graduating with a degree in Petroleum Engineering, he started his first job at BJ Services as a field engineer, kickstarting a successful career in oil.

Ryan met and was married to Rebecca Hammer for 10 happy years.

Ryan loved power lifting and breaking records. He is credited with two separate weight lifting records at Missouri Science & Technology.

Ryan was an avid fisherman, loving the ocean, and had a passion for cooking. He adored his family, and had an impeccable work ethic.

Ryan was preceded in death by grandmother June Lyons. His grandfathers John Carden and Bruce Crouse. Also, uncle Darren Crouse.

He is survived by his parents Duane and Linda Crouse, brother Danny Crouse, sister BreAnn Uyeda, sister in law Crystal Crouse, brother in law Travis Uyeda, nephews Hnedirx Crouse and Ronin Uyeda, nieces Harper Crouse, Evelyn Uyeda, and Iris Uyeda, grandmother Arlene Crouse. And other family and friends that loved him.

Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home South on April 1, 2023. Visitation at 3:00 PM and services at 4:00.
