Samantha “Ruth” Latimer, born December 1, 1918 to Maggie (Dugan) Brown and Irwin Brown in Marshfield, MO. Passed away on June 29, 2015 at Ozark Riverview Manor, Ozark, MO at the age of 96. Ruth was married to John Allen Latimer December 23, 1939, for 24 years before his death, December 31, 1963. She is survived by three sons, Wayne of Springfield, Steve and his wife Lorie of Strafford, and Clark Latimer of Nixa. Five grandchildren, Sarah Weter and husband Kevin, Eric Latimer, Lana Latimer, Tiffany Eggelston and husband Jarrod, Jessica Viland and husband Jon, and 10 great – grandchildren. Ruth was a long time employee as sales assistant for M.R. Dugan Auction Co. Visitation will be Monday July 6th 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Services will be Tuesday July 7th 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial following in Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
