In only the short time I was acquainted with Sam as TLC's 55+ shuttle driver, every time I had the pleasure of having a conversation with him, it was clear how much he appreciated everyone on the TLC team. Each and every time I had the honor of his presence, he always left me with the thought of what TLC meant and how committed he was to ensuring over-the-top hospitality was the most important ingredient to the business. Farewell Sam, and know that the countless lives you touched were so honored to have known you. And for all of Sam's family please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

SAM CORYELL WAS AN INSPIRATION TO ME. HIS ROBUST FAITH IN GOD, HIS KINDNESS TO HIS FRIENDS AND HIS HARD WORK SET AN EXAMPLE OF LIFE AS GOD INTENDED IT. I THANK GOD FOR HIM AND EXTEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Jerald Andrews left a message on January 19, 2026:
I was so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I met Sam in 1992 and a friendship developed and has remained since that time. Sam was very supportive of my work through the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and the Price Cutter Charity Championship. He was always willing to help so many charitable organizations in the Ozarks. Sam honored me so many times by inviting me to attend several of his corporate celebrations, inviting me speak and share at some of those events, having me write a forward in one of his books and inviting me to write one is his upcoming book. We discussed everything from family, politics, religion and education. He had an immense impact on my life and that of my family and I will be forever grateful. Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Terribly sad to hear of Sam’s passing. I will be unable to attend the services but I’m confident there will be scores of people there to remember such a great man who helped so many. I recall the grace he extended to me many times. Wishing his family peace and reflection. He will be missed by many.
