It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Elizabeth Ford. Sarah was born on March 5, 1981, and died unexpectedly on June 1, 2025, at the age of 44 following a brief illness.
Sarah was a good student and loved learning. She was a graduate of Glendale High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southwest Baptist University. Most of Sarah’s nursing career was done remotely so she could be at home with her children.
Sarah was an adventurer at heart and enjoyed travel whenever possible. She was an outspoken Democrat and was not hesitant to share her opinions with others.
The greatest joy of Sarah’s life were her two sons, Jackson (7) and Greyson (5). She loved her boys with the ferocity of a mama bear, and never tired of talking about them.
Besides Jackson and Greyson, she leaves behind her mother Jeanette Ford, father Larry Ford and wife Christine, brother Christopher and his wife Katie and nephew Zach Ford, nieces Kara McDonald and Abby Bassham and their families. She touched many lives and will be missed by family and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 14 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North
