Sarah (Dillard ) Banfield-Beckerdite age 82 , of Fair Grove passed away Monday, December 19th, 2016 at Strafford Care Center .
Sarah was born April 1, 1934, in Strafford, MO to Mortmer and Ruth Dillard. She was a graduate of Strafford High School. She was united in marriage to David V. Beckerdite on May 14,1976 in Fair Grove, MO. Sarah loved living on the farm, she enjoyed checking on her cattle. She was a lifetime member of Strafford United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David V. Beckerdite; two sons, Blaine Banfield and wife Teresa, Strafford and Lyndel Banfield and wife Brenda, Rogersville; two grandsons, Chad Banfield and Dustin Banfield; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Mortmer and Ruth Dillard; her first husband, Roger Banfield; son Darren Banfield; and her grandson Roger Banfield.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 10:30 am to 11 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home North .Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Funeral Home- North Springfield 3506 N. National Ave Springfield, Missouri 65803, with burial to follow at Bass Chapel Cemetery, Strafford, MO. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
