Sarah, a beloved wife to Sean Appleby, devoted mother to Lauren, Lindsey, and Lydia, and cherished daughter of Darrell and Karen McFarland, was called to eternal rest on October 10, 2024, in Springfield, MO.
Born on February 19, 1973, in Bloomfield, IA, Sarah dedicated the majority of her career to the banking industry, excelling as a dedicated bank manager. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion lives on in the hearts of those she inspired.
We invite all who knew and loved Sarah to join us in remembering her remarkable life at the visitation to be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home South on October 18, 2024 from 5 – 7 pm.
As we gather to honor Sarah’s memory, let us find solace in the knowledge that she continues to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, Sarah will be cremated.
Sarah’s light will forever guide us, and her love will remain a beacon of hope in our lives. Let us celebrate her beautiful soul and the profound impact she had on all of us. Rest in peace, dear Sarah – your spirit will live on in our hearts always.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Darrell McFarland.
