
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scotie Dale Steinert Sr, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Scotie was born on February 4, 1957, in Springfield, MO, and peacefully departed from this world on September 25, 2024, in Springfield, MO at the age of 67.
Scotie dedicated his career to the trucking industry, a passion that he pursued with unwavering dedication and diligence throughout his life. He was a dedicated Chiefs fan. Scotie love riding his Harley with his amazing group of brothers. His sense of humor drew everyone towards him and was always the life of the party. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving mother Joyce Evel who he cherished with his whole heart, his children Scotie Steinert Jr. and Ashley Tindle, his fun and crazy sisters Shelly Richards, Gina Steinert, Sherri Brown-Steinert, and Kimberly Wahlquist, his daughter-in-law Shannon Steinert, brothers-in-law Aaron Wahlquist, Robin Richards and Glenn Brown, his stepfather Tomie Evel, and his grandchildren Kylie, Madison, Garrett and great-grandson Navir and several loving nieces and nephews.
Scotie’s memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held to honor his legacy on a date to be announced.
In this time of mourning, may we find solace in the love and joy Scotie brought into our lives, and may his spirit live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him best. May he rest in eternal peace.
