My deepest condolences to Scott's family and loved ones. I haven't spoken to Scott since we were in our early teens in Fort Morgan, but I've always remembered him fondly. He was so nice to me, seemingly always happy and smiling, and I can't recall him ever being anything else. I'm so sorry to hear what he went through over the last few years; I commend his strength to fight with everything he had. Blessings to everyone who mourns him.

David Paul left a message on March 22, 2024:
I didn’t know Scott very well. He was the platoon sergeant my freshman year when I came in. MMA my first year kind of sucked. I got hazed a ton and I wasn’t liked very much. Scott was unbelievably kind to me. So kind it really warms my heart to this day to think about it. I let him use my computer and him and I would chat and listen to showtunes. One that he really like was Oklahoma’s “What a beautiful morning.” Which I think exemplified his attitude and positivity. I didn’t follow much about his life until I heard him pass away but I was loved by how loving and caring his wife was during his battle with cancer. God bless all of you.
Michael Scheele left a message on March 22, 2024:
You will be missed old friend. Lots of great memories with you at MMA. Rest in peace brother.
LTC (USA, RET) Paul and Lawanah Gillette, MMA Class of 1970 left a message on March 22, 2024:
Lawanah and I want to offer our sincere condolences to the Hamilton family on Scotts passing. I had the distinct Honor and Pleasure of working with Scott as an advisor, Instructor and confidant for five years. He was among the very best of students and Cadet leaders to attend Missouri Military Academy and all students and staff were better for knowing him. We, as are many, are sincerely heartbroken with this news. TO Scott: At ease Marine, your watch is complete! May God Bless and keep you!
