Shandrea Lynn Jacoby Holloway, 44, along with her husband Patrick Holloway, were tragically killed in a car accident Thanksgiving evening as they were returning from a family gathering in St. Louis. Their precious 14-month-old daughter, Hannalee, was not injured in the accident and was the sole survivor.
Shandrea was born October 18, 1978. She had many friends and will be remembered for being a wonderful mother to Hannalee, and her stepson, Gavin. Shandrea married the love of her life, Patrick, on October 18, 2014, and they built a wonderful life together. She loved to bake and decorate their home, and she loved to shop, especially for Hannalee. She loved her coffee and was a “regular” at Starbucks, always buying one of the new seasonal tumblers. She always called Hannalee her “miracle” baby and had her at age 43 on August 23, 2021. Shandrea was such a proud mother and posted pictures of her daily.
She was blessed with many close friends, and she loved her family dearly. She was a stay-at-home mother who worked for Jack Henry as an Application Analyst.
Shandrea attended Hillcrest High School and graduated in 1997. Following graduation, she worked at Great Southern as a bank teller, before moving on to Jack Henry.
Shandrea is survived by her daughter, Hannalee, and stepson Gavin Holloway; parents Robert and Sheryl Hendrick; twin brother, Bryan Jacoby (Samantha) their children Raelee and Mackenzie; brother Craig Hendrick (Michelle) and their son Connor; and host of many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shandrea brought joy to all who knew her. She was an amazing wife and loving mother, sister, aunt, and was a friend to many. She will remain in our hearts forever.
