Sharon Kay Owen, a loving wife, mother, and department manager at Walmart, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2024, in her home in Mount Vernon, Missouri, surrounded by her family. Born on July 19, 1942, in Des Moines, Iowa, Sharon touched the lives of many with her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love.
She leaves behind her beloved spouse Charlie Owen, devoted son Mike Owen, daughter Debbie Mason, and son Chris Owen. Sharon’s warmth and compassion will always be remembered by her family and friends.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at Patterson Cemetery in Springfield on September 11, 2024, at 10:00 am. The burial ceremony will follow the service at the cemetery.
Sharon’s legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
