Shena Jean Barnes, 64, Springfield, MO. passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in her home, after a long illness. Shena was born on September 2, 1959, in Wichita Kansas, to Rondo and Norma (Cummins) Williams. She was a graduate of Seymour High School and Ozarks Technical Community College, where she was on the Deans list. She was a PTA volunteer at Robberson Community School. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed dancing, quilting, camping, riding jet skis, and listening to Elvis Presley music.
Shena was preceded in death by her father: Rondo Williams, her mother: Norma Jean Williams, her grandparents, and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins and her best friend: Linda Behling. On July 10, 1978, in Springfield, MO. Shena was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bruce Dean Barnes, who survives him, of the home. She is also survived by her daughter: Amy Jean Barnes, and her son: Brian Dean Barnes and one grand-daughter: Kylie Jean Barnes. She is also survived by her four brothers: Rondo Williams Jr, Dennis Williams, Rex Williams and his wife, Becky Williams, and Tony Williams, her nieces and nephew: Holly Davis (Williams), Brayden Davis-great nephew, Lorri Barnes and April Barnes. She is also survived by her special cousins: Betty Pittman and Danita Barnes, and many, many special people.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. Monday, January 15, 2923, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A graveside service will be held will be held after cremation at Goss cemetery, in Seymour, Mo.
