Aunt Shirley grew up in Missouri and myself in Arkansas so we didn't know each other very much until I moved and lived 25 mile or so from Dexter in the early 70's. The first time I remember meeting her I knew she was special. Whenever she would walk into a room the whole room would brighten up from the glow of Aunt Shirley just being Aunt Shirley. Her laughter and smile would make everyone feel she was only there to see and talk to them. That's a GOD Gift, one of many she had. This world needs more like her. So sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.

First met wonder woman Shirley Gains at the Presleys music show, we were in line to get tickets to the show. Then she and Loyd came to the same Sunday School class a FBCBranson and I introduces her to my wife Shirley and it immediately was wonderful friendship between those Shirley's. Shirley Gains introduced me to Loyd and we became friends. Shirley was a great friend, a great worker in our Church and just an all around friend for life. I will miss you Shirley Gain and plan to help Loyd cope with his great loss every way I can. See YOU in Heaven soon Shirley.

I met Shirley through the Cornerstone Ministries in 2017. I soon learned Shirley was a master cook and I could learn her experiences. She knew everyone and provided many suggestions for programs at our monthly meeting. We will miss her smile and her way of loving "new comers" to Branson First Baptist. Love and Prayers to her family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We were blessed to know Shirley for the last 5 years in Branson. So full of life, so giving, so loving. When we visited FBC in Branson she and Loyd turned around in service and welcomed us and invited us to her SS class. The rest is history. Since our parents passed years ago, after meeting Shirley and Loyd they have become like adopted parents to my wife and I. So thankful to know she is now fully healed and in the presence of the Lord. Loyd and her family and everyone who knew Shirley will miss her terribly. Oh, also her rolls were famous. I couldn't stop eating them.

Kim, I did not have the honor of meeting your mother but seeing her picture you look so much like her! She will live forever thru you and like you I’m sure she was a strong woman. My deepest condolences on the loss of your friend and hero. She will be missed by your whole family but we know she is in a wonderful place and some day you will see her again. My prayers for you and your family in this hard time. Blessings.
