Shirley was born on July 22, 1934 to Fred and Genevieve Weisel in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away at the Bungalows of Chesterfield Village in Springfield, Mo on October 5, 2023.
She was married in 1951 to William Hoffman with whom she had three sons, Bruce, Chris, and John Hoffman. In 1962, she married Floyd R. Perkins, with whom she had two sons, Robert and James Perkins. They resided in St Louis until 1969 when they moved to Sikeston, Mo, where Floyd started his own business and Shirley worked in several office positions, including working for the state. In 1994, she and Floyd retired to Nixa, MO. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nixa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Kanagawa, brother Fred Weisel Jr, her husband Floyd Perkins, and two sons Bruce Hoffman and John Hoffman.
She is survived by three sons, Chris Hoffman of Bolivar, MO, James Perkins of Springfield, MO and Robert Perkins, Mexico, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on October 11th at 10:30 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nixa MO, with internment at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Floyd Perkins.
