Shirley Mae Crouch, age 78, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away in her home on January 23, 2022. She was born on July 19, 1943, in Ongo, Missouri, to Oscar Lee and Verba Applegate Goodwin. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family. She was married to Basil Almus Crowe on August 5, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma. After his passing she married Edward Crouch on March 31, 2009. Her interests included canning, gardening, and fishing.
She is preceded in death by parents Oscar Lee and Verba Applegate Goodwin; brothers Alvin Lee and Kenneth Lee; sisters Wilma Gardner and Alice Robinson; grandson David Crowe; an infant daughter Loretta Crowe; and half-brother Charlie Lee. She is survived by her children Basil Crowe, Lolita Letterman (Steve), Lori McConnell (Roy), David Crowe (Bobbe); step-children Russell Crowe, Pamela Hood, and Kathy Washington; grandchildren Andrea, Steven, Eian, Carrie, Cindy, Cameron, Kyle, Chelsea, and Amy; great-grandchildren Hannah, Rylie, Dallas, Jonnathan, Bella, Ivashia, Kariah, Ray, Levi, Calvin, Alyssa, Lucas, and Parker; brother Jerry Lee; half-brothers and half-sisters Henry Lee, Charles Alvin Lee, Charles Arthur Lee, Retha Swatosh, Tom Lee, Charlene Thomas, and Floyd Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation will be held Wednesday January 26, 5:00-7:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The service will be Thursday January 27, at 12:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial at Yeakley Cemetery following service.
