Shone “Shawn” Allen Swearingin, 48, of Strafford, Missouri passed away on June 8, 2018. He was born May 6, 1970 to Emmett “Buddy” & Treva Swearingin and Darlene Powell.
Shawn was a friend to everyone, he had a huge heart and would help anyone who came across his path that was in need. Shawn was a very talented artist. He had two drawings on display at the Kansas City Museum at the young age of 14. Shawn was always a protector of family and friends. He always wanted to make people laugh and was always a pleasure to be around.
Shawn is survived by his daughter, Mariah Jewel Wescott, his father, Buddy, sister, Carmela Berry and husband Jeff, two brothers, Kent Anderson and Buddy Lee Swearingin and wife, Christina, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Treva, cousin Jackie Swearingin, and grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri.
