Stanley A. Jones age 78 of Forsyth, Missouri passed away on December 21, 2017 at his home.
He was born on June 28, 1939 in Hollister, Missouri the son of Bernard and Frances Jones. He was a longtime resident of Taney County and was a musician and had done many other jobs in his lifetime. He was an U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.
Survivors are his wife; Joyce Miller Jones of the home, nine children; Donald Jones (Theresa) of Springfield, Mo., Stanley jones II (Monique) of Forsyth, Mo., Vincent Jones (Jennifer) of Nebraska, Travis Jones (Beth) of Hollister, Mo., Rhonda Jones (Jamie Roop) of Ozark, Missouri, Valerie Holek (Gerald) of Republic, Mo., Sherri Cordell (Errol) of Forsyth, Mo., Debbe Stich of Raymore, Missouri and Tina McCormick (David) of Plano, Texas. One brother, Danny P. Jones of California and a half sister, Vickie Gloyd of California, 24 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Linda Mae, Gloria Rudd, Dixie, brothers, Jimmy Jones, Steven Jones and David Gloyd, a son, Dennis Jones, granddaughter, Autumn Rayne Heston Jones.
Burial will be at 12:00, Noon on January 5, 2018 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
