Stephen W. Brown of Springfield, MO, passed away February 2026. Steve was born to Roy H. Brown and Mae Marie Hillenburg on April 18, 1947. Steve was raised in Pleasant Hope where he graduated from Pleasant Hope High School class of 1965.

Steve was blessed with three children: Stephen Scott of Springfield, Brent Douglas of Pleasant Hope, and Stephanie Dawn of Hamilton, Missouri.

Steve was employed by Hiland Dairy for over 20 years and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 245. Steve loved his Nascar, and World of Outlaw. He enjoyed watching or going to Springfield, and Saint Louis Cardinal games. He also enjoyed traveling to places like Mexico and Florida. The biggest love of his life was visiting his grandkids.

Steve was preceded in death by his Grandparents: John Brown, grandfather, and Pearl, grandmother; and parents: Father Roy H. Brown and Mother Mae Marie Hillenburg.

Steve is survived by his children: Stephen Scott of Springfield, Brent Douglas and wife Marla of Pleasant Hope, Stephanie and husband Jeremy of Hamilton, MO; four grandchildren: Lane Joseph and wife Kristen Brown of Angier, North Carolina, Trayson Lake Burke of Hamilton, Cadence Hope Burke of Hamilton, Tinley Faith Burke of Hamilton; and one great-grandson Maverick William Brown of Angier, North Carolina.

Visitation for Steve will be held on February 16^th, 2026, at Greenlawn North Funeral Home in Springfield, MO with graveside service to follow at New Hope Cemetery for burial.

His care has been entrusted in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
